docker-registry software package provides Docker toolset to pack, ship, store, and deliver content, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install docker-registry
docker-registry is installed in your system.
Make ensure the docker-registry package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep docker-registry *
You will get with docker-registry package name, version, architecture and description in a table
